Hammons Field

Well, this is not a very good second week shot, but it was the best I could come up with in the time I had. This stadium, located in downtown Springfield, was completed in 2004 and is the home of the AA Baseball League's Springfield Cardinals.

Interesting building. Looks like you've got some nice weather there now, too. Maybe a closer shot might add interest, but it's pretty interesting as it is.

As I have never been to Missouri, all the shots you post will be interesting.

I do agree with puzzled about a closer aspect on this one.

i like it... reminds me of autozone park in memphis, where the redbirds play (cardinal's aaa team)

Wow, this is a new building I have never seen before. Springfield changes so quickly! The little tree is obstructing the view of the front doors. Good thing you shot this when you did, I hear the weather is frightfull right now. Hope your staying warm.

hi, a friend of mine suggested to me that i do a photo a week to hone mu skills. he suggested that i look at some similar blogs and yours was one of the first one i came to. your shots are interesting. this week's is simple, yet tells a story. the stadium looks like it is in the middle of nowhere. i hope to look at your page often. thank you
