This is the Darr Agricultural Center of Missouri State University (formerly Southwest Missouri State University). It is used in the agricultural program to aid in the research of horses, cattle, forestry, and agronomy. More information can be found here: http://ag.missouristate.edu/Darr%20Ag%20Center/Darr_Farm.htm
I took this through a chain link fence on a walk along the South Creek Greenway Trail, part of the Ozark Greenways Trail system.

Interesting post and great shot!! When did they change the name of the University??
I like the comp...just wish the light was warmer.
Lovely photo
Looks like a nice place. You got one comment about the light being a bit cold - if you tried taking this early in the morning or late in the afternoon, I bet there would be some softness that's tough to describe :-) The composition with those horses having lunch is sweet.
Interesting shot... thanks for posting the background information.
