Old and New

Taken in the historic district on East Walnut Street of Springfield, MO. Many of the Victorian homes on this street are now being used for businesses, but the charm is still there. (The pile in the street on the left side is limbs that were broken during the ice storm and have not been picked up yet.) The high rise in the background is condominiums, showing the contrast between what was and where we are going. (This is a block east of the first shot in this blog.)

The toning in this photo is beautiful! I really like the contrast between the old and the new. Things sure have changed. Good job!

Great job. I like the comp ( with old and new) and the tone of the pic.

Good subject matter and nice b&w processing.

I love driving down walnut street. If I could move any one of those houses out on 50 acres I would! Old time elegance that nothing built now holds a candle to! Great image.
